BOSTON — Knives and shells flew Tuesday as 13 men and women battled it out in a boisterous oyster shucking contest at the International Boston Seafood Show at the Boston Conference and Exhibition Center.
The mood, exemplified by the contest, was buoyant at the 28th annual seafood show. That’s because this industry, unlike others in the floundering economy, is doing well.
